We did this really fun workout last week that really challenged the entire core from top to bottom. Everyone loved it even though it was pretty tough.

This was a fun workout and we got to use our new Aquabags. They are sandbags, but instead of sand, they are filled with water. It’s a great way to challenge the core and all the stabilizer muscles.
To quote one of our morning boot campers, “The devil wears Umbros”. I met everyone this morning in my devil costume complete with blinking horns that I bought at my last AC/DC concert. They knew right away this was going to be HELL.
After a warm up we did mini workouts.
1. A Kettlebell Deadlift, Swing ladder just to get their hearts racing and glutes firing.
2. 15/15 swings for 15 sets
3. Rows and Push ups on the KB
4. 10 Jacks and 5 Burpees every minute on the minute for a long time
5. A big lap with the KB in the rack
I don’t know if what I heard was screeches of delight or horror.

I haven’t posted in forever! I’ve got video and pictures that I need to get posted pronto.
I have been totally distracted working on the business. We are starting our new Crawfordville boot camp on Sept. 15th. We were hoping to be in our new 5600 sqft building in Sept. but everything is mired in permits right now. We can only hope for late Oct at this point.
I am posting a montage of our first Run, Bike, Swing workout. It was tough. Most everyone did this workout after they did the Saturday boot camp workout. It was raining that day so I think that kept a lot of people away. We are going to do this every month if there is enough interest.

If you don’t have a bike, don’t worry, just run and swing. If you have never done the swings, arrive early (about 20 mins) so someone can teach you. I would love to have some team competitions in the future and turn this into a charity event.
